Troncones is a small Mexican village with about 500 local residents. Approximately 30 minutes drive North of Ixtapa and about 45 minutes from Zihuatanejo-Ixtapa airport. Casablanca is situated within easy walking distance by beach or road to Manzanillo Bay. There you will find a couple of excellent restaurants and bars, as well as a great beach for swimming, snorkeling and surfing. To the South of Casabanca, Playa Troncones, is another 3 mile stretch of natural sandy beach with about a dozen restaurants offering local Mexican and American cuisine.

We have enhanced this natural beauty with authentic decor of mexican pots and crafts throughout the house and gardens.
Beach activities can be arranged right here from Casablanca. Horseback riding on the beach or a sunset massage under a beach palapa are popular attractions. In addition, you will find many species of beautiful birds flying free in this tropical paradise. During the Winter months hundreds of migrating Pelicans find their nesting place right here. To catch site of a spouting dolphin or a giant whale is very exciting, or you may even be lucky enough to spot a sea turtle venture out of the water to lay her eggs and bury them in the sand.
